Dr. Alice Goh is an accomplished Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic surgeon based in Malaysia. Her educational journey includes a Master of Surgery (Ophthalmology) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). She has further honed her skills through a Malaysian Certificate of Completion in Fellowship Training (CCFT) in Oculoplastics. Dr. Goh has undergone additional Oculoplastic surgery training at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA in Los Angeles, USA, Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea, and LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India.
Throughout her career, Dr. Goh has been recognized for her dedication and excellence, receiving several scholarships from the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH), the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), and the UCLA David Leveton International Fellowship. Her primary focus lies in Oculoplastic surgery, with a special interest in cosmetic eyelid surgery and facial aesthetics.
Notably, Dr. Goh holds the distinction of being the first Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic surgeon in Malaysia who is credentialed to practice aesthetics (LCP). She played a crucial role in the establishment of the Malaysian Oculoplastic Interest Group (MOIG) in 2017, serving as its founding chairperson.
Additionally, she has been elected as an executive council member in the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS) for the term 2021-2023.
